Upcoming Projects

We are currently starting to operate in Portugal. More precisely, in the interior of Portugal. It is a region decimated year after year by wildfires. Recently, the region has been affected by these calamities in 2017 and 2019, causing a huge pocket of deforestation in the center of the country.

Our first actions will be the actions of reforestation in the county of Mação. With a total territory of around 35000 acres, the county lost almost 90% of its forest to both major wildfires in 2017 and 2019.

Our intervention will consist of a joint effort with local authorities, in order to create a sustainable forest, based on biodiversity and consisting of native species. We will help them create a new kind of forest, beneficial to the environment and also, with their guidance, with a high impact on wildfire prevention. The areas of intervention will be preserved and maintained for at least 20 years, in order to develop the ecosystem and boost carbon retainment.
